Workshop Part 2 - Cemanthe on Social Business

Overview

Every so often you’ll hear from a business who tried to use social media for business, but eventually scaled it back or abandoned it altogether after they didn’t receive results expected. They switch their social media off, and see no difference made to their business. So is social media overhyped? Is it all just a waste of time?

         

 

Not at all. Their lack of success is often a result of a few common mistakes or not understanding how it all works together. With clear, reasonable goals, a focused plan, and careful measurement of your results, there’s little reason not to be social. It's not about focusing only on the technical side of social media, but about the positive aspects it can add to your business profile and reputation, as well as providing people with the human face to the business.

Setting up a Facebook page or Twitter account is relatively straight-forward, however, the real value of using social media for business can only be gained by blending technical use with the conceptual understanding.

Our training combines it all, from Strategy and Setup to Trends and Etiquette. You will also learn the basics like Measurement, Reputation Management, Strategy and Generating Content.
